Dr.Tarin Supprakorn

Dr.Tarin Supprakorn is a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, where he studies with Dr. Nelita True. He received a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Literature from Eastman, also studying with Dr. True, and he earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore, where he studied with Dr. Thomas Hecht.

Hailed by the Bangkok Post as “one of Thailand’s top young concert pianists,” Tarin began piano studies at age six in his native Thailand. He studied with Dr. Indhuon Srikaranonda for eight years, receiving a full scholarship from the M. L. Puangroy Apaiwongse Scholarship Fund in Bangkok for talented young pianists.

During his years of study at Eastman, he won first prize in the school’s annual Piano Concerto Competition and performed Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Tarin has served as Dr. True’s teaching assistant. He was honoured with Eastman’s Excellence in Accompanying Award in both 2013 and 2014. Tarin is also a piano instructor at the Eastman Community Music School.

Tarin has won first prize in most of Thailand’s prestigious piano competitions, including the 6th Bangkok Chopin Piano Competition, the 7th National Studio Piano Competition, the 1st National Piano Concerto Competition organized by Mahidol University, and the 5th Piyabhand Sanitwongse National Piano Competition. He has also won first or second prize and the Best Artistic Award in several international competitions: the 5th and 8th International Chopin Piano Competitions in Asia (Japan), the 7th International Balys Dvarionas Competition for Young Pianists (Lithuania), the 1st ASEAN International Concerto Competition (Indonesia), the 5th International Stasys Vainiunas Piano and Chamber Ensemble Competition (Lithuania), and the 2nd ASEAN International Chopin Piano Competition (Malaysia)

Mr. Supakorn Aekaputra

A classically trained pianist and music theorist, Supakorn Aekaputra holds numerous awards and qualifications from internationally-acclaimed institutions. He is the first Thai citizen to have been awarded both Fellowship and Licentiate (approved with upper level) diplomas in Solo Piano Performance from London College of Music, as well as a Licentiate diploma (with Distinction) in Music Theory & Literacy from Trinity College London.

Supakorn completed his Master's degree (with Merit) in Musicology from King's College London, and prior to that, graduated Bachelor of Fine Arts in Western Music (Piano Performance) from Chulalongkorn University with First-Class Honour and Gold Medal. He is the first person ever in the history of Chulalongkorn's Fine Arts Faculty to have graduated with 4.0 GPAx since the Faculty's establishment in 1983.

As concert pianist, Supakorn has performed in various prestigious venues, both nationally and internationally. Some of the venues include Das Goethe Institut, Wolfson College Lee Hall Cambridge, University of Cambridge Faculty of Music, King's College London, Tongsuang's Studio (Sukhumvit Soi 3), Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Fine Arts, Chulalongkorn University Arts & Cultural Centre, Mahidol University Music Auditorium, Royal Thai Air Force, and LCM Award. His performances and academic achievements have led him to be awarded honorary plaques and prizes from London College of Music, Trinity College London, Mahidol University, Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Mr. James T. Robinson Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama, and Triamudomsuksa School. In addition, Supakorn's performance of 20th-century piano music was also recorded and broadcast multiple times throughout July 2014 by Radio Thailand World Service FM 88.0 MHz.

Prior to joining Peterson Music Institute, Supakorn acted as President of Wolfson College Music Society in Cambridge, and was part-time lecturer at PGVIM on Tonal Harmony and supervisor of Recital Projects. He was also guest lecturer in Music Analysis (Master's level) at Chulalongkorn University and was appointed teaching assistant in 20th-century Music Theory during his undergraduate years. In 2013, he served as the Music Department's representative during Chulalongkorn University's Academic Fair. Throughout his career as an academic and pedagogue, Supakorn has enjoyed the privilege of coaching intermediate and advanced students (grades 6 and higher) in both piano and music theory from multiple countries, including Thailand, China, and Italy.

Supakorn is currently a part-time doctoral research student at Faculty of Music, University of Cambridge. He also serves as music examiner-in-training for London College of Music and has written over a dozen articles with topics ranging from classical music, theory, pedagogy, to film and Japanese anime; many of his articles have been published by leading journals in arts and humanities.

Ms. Naoko Kato

Ms. Naoko Kato

Naoko earned a Bachelor's degree from Musashino Academia Musicae in Japan with a Master's degree in piano performance from Chicago Musical College in the United States. She's been studying accompaniment and chamber music since she was in college. After attending the university, she started studying accompanying and chamber music and became a keyboardist at the Chicago Civic Orchestra. Naoko has been a guest pianist and main pianist for the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Bangkok Opera, and Bangkok Community Theater. In 2006, she was a piano concerto soloist conducted by Mr. Hikotaro Yazaki of the MIE Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan. In 2011, she entered the Charity Concert "Pray for Japan" which started after a major earthquake. Naoko had a solo recital in Bangkok in 2014. Since then, she has been appearing in concerts with Ms. Eri Okuzawa.

Mr. Wasin Prasertlap

Award-winning pianist Wasin Prasertlap has performed as a soloist and collaborative musician in Southeast Asia, the US and Eastern Europe. Among his many prizes, he was awarded First Prize at Thailand’s 1st National Piano Concerto Competition and won the Crescendo Summer Institute Chamber Music Competition in Sárospatak, Hungary in 2012. A recipient of the Peabody Scholarship and the Yong Siew Toh Scholarship, Wasin earned a Graduate Performance Diploma and Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Peabody Conservatory, where he was awarded the Pauline Favin Memorial Award upon graduation. Prior to that, he received the Bachelor of Music in degree in Piano Performance from the National University of Singapore. His former teachers included Benjamin Pasternack, Thomas Hecht, Artas Balakauskas and Indhuon Srikaranonda-Balakauskas. He has additionally been coached by diverse international artists, including Leon Fleisher, Yefim Bronfman, Angela Hewitt, Boris Berman, Martin Helmchen, Peter Frankl, Michael Kannen and Katherine Jacobson Fleisher.

Ms. Kiyoko Mori

Kiyoko is a luminary in music education, graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae University in Japan, where she majored in Piano Performance in 1976, she quickly established herself as a pioneering force in piano pedagogy. That same year, she joined the Yamaha Music Foundation, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey in shaping music education worldwide.

In 1982, Yamaha recognized her exceptional talent and sent her to Bangkok as a Junior Music Course (JMC) instructor, where she played a pivotal role in transforming Thailand’s music education landscape. From 1982 to 1985, she taught both group and private lessons, leading courses such as the Junior Special Advanced Course (JSAC), Junior Extension Course (JXC), and JMC. Simultaneously, she mentored and trained Thai teachers, conducting in-depth seminars and one-on-one coaching on the Yamaha Method of Teaching group lessons and grading preparation for Yamaha Levels 5-3.

In 1985, Ajarn Kiyoko continued her stellar career at Yamaha’s Tokyo branches, where she taught an extensive range of courses for students aged 2 to 15 until 2014. Her global influence expanded even further in 1988-1989 when she was selected to spearhead the launch of Yamaha’s JMC branch in Tel Aviv, Israel. There, she led high-impact training seminars for new JMC instructors, playing a crucial role in establishing Yamaha’s educational presence in the region.

Throughout her career, she has achieved multiple qualifications, including Yamaha Piano Performance Grade 3, Yamaha Fundamental Grade 3, and Yamaha Electone Performance Grade 5, and has served as a Yamaha Examiner for Piano Grades 13-6. Her deep expertise and hands-on approach have made her a highly sought-after mentor for students and teachers. Lessons can be taught in English and Japanese

Ms. Siriporn Songbundit

Siriporn is a passionate music educator with a diverse background in both musical and spiritual studies. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Education, laying the foundation for her lifelong dedication to teaching. Her journey then took her to Australia, where she expanded her knowledge at the International Institute for Creative Ministries (IICM), delving into Bible studies with a focus on Dance, Drama, and Music.

After returning to Thailand, she embraced her role as a freelance piano teacher, sharing her love of music with students of all ages. Alongside teaching, she has been actively involved in church music ministry, serving during Sunday morning worship and helping children discover the joy of singing.

Today, she is a valued instructor at Peterson Piano Institute, where she teaches beginner piano, grade exam preparation, Christian music, and popular contemporary songs. With her rich experience and heartfelt approach, Ms. Siriporn continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians.

Ms. Warissara Jariyavoramet

Warissara graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree 1st class honor in Classical Piano Performance at Silpakorn University. She took her first piano lesson at a Yamaha Music School at age of 7. After the first lesson, she was fascinated by this magical instrument that could create melody, harmony, and rhythm at the same time. By the age of 15, she had completed the 8th Grade exam of Trinity College of London.

After finishing secondary school at St.Joseph Convent School she immediately applied for an admission at Mater Dei Art-Music Program where she was a student of Assistant Professor Dr. Jamorn Supapol. She later got accepted to Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University with competitive and prestigious Duriya Sankit Scholarship where she received financial awards for 4 years based on her maintaining her excellent academic record. Warissara graduated with First Class Honors in April 2021.

During her college years she gained many experiences from participating in Yamaha Thailand Music Festival, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Feroci Symphony Wind Orchestra, Piano Showcase, Piano Masterclass and SU-KU Piano Friendship Concert. With more than 5 years of teaching experience for 3.5 years old to an adult, Warissara enjoys meeting new challenges and teaching new aspiring students.

Ms. Kanta Kansopon

Kanta graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Chulalongkorn University majoring in Piano Performance. She used to be the assistant director of Jintrakarn Music School. Thanks to her 35 years of teaching experience, she is very good in teaching piano especially with children whilst making them enjoy their music journey. Her goal in teaching is to deliver through the love of music to the children. In addition to obtaining the correct background knowledge her student always leaves class with a smile on their face. She teaches both one to one lessons and piano group courses.

Ms. Pao Tangnirankul

Pao is a dynamic and inspiring piano educator. She holds a Grade 8 Piano certification from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, along with Grade 5 in Music Theory, showcasing her strong musical foundation.

A graduate of Silpakorn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design, Ms. Pao seamlessly merges creativity with her musical expertise. Since beginning her teaching career in 2008, she has accumulated over 15 years of experience, guiding students of all ages from young beginners to adult learners to unlock their full potential at the piano. Her dedication to excellence was recognized in 2020 when she received a prestigious teaching award from Trinity Awards Thailand, highlighting her exceptional ability to inspire and elevate her students.

Beyond music, Pao’s international experience adds depth to her teaching. Having lived in Japan for over two years, she developed fluency in Japanese while gaining a profound appreciation for the country’s artistry and discipline.

From her early days as a pianist to her current status as a trailblazing educator, Pao’s career is a symphony of dedication, creativity, and outstanding results. She is not just a piano teacher, she is a mentor, a guide, and a true artist, shaping the next generation of musicians with passion and expertise.

Mr. Saithong Sriwimonwattana

Saithong began his piano lessons when he was six years old. He received his bachelor’s degree in Piano Pedagogy from Chulalongkorn University and performed numerous concerts during his bachelor’s years as a soloist, and as an accompaniment. He also studied Piano Performance under the guidance of Dr. Nopanand Chanorathikul for 9 years. Saithong has more than decades of experience as a private piano instructor for students of all ages, up to advanced level, can be conducted in both Thai and English.

Ms. Supasinee Kanjanasiranont

Supasinee Kanjanasiranont (Ajarn Ae) is a highly accomplished piano instructor who earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Thammasat University. Her musical journey began at the age of seven under the guidance of several esteemed teachers, including the renowned Chawalida Kruasing. With over 16 years of teaching experience, she has developed deep expertise in piano pedagogy. Her dedication and exceptional teaching skills have led her students to receive notable achievements, including the Trinity Award Thailand 2022 for Trinity College London exams in Grades 1, 3, and 5.

Currently, Supasinee serves as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University, where she shares her insights on music and musical appreciation. She began teaching piano during her second year of university and has since nurtured a diverse range of students, from young children as early as age 4 to enthusiastic adult learners up to age 65.

Proficient in teaching in Thai, English, and Chinese.

Ms. Pancharee Ungpanya

Pancharee was a student of Payabhand Sanitwonse, who is the national artist in performing arts. She performed at the Piyabhand Sanitwong’s concert every year from 1990 to 1997. She started studying piano at the age of 13 with Wannasiri Homsanit, a pupil of Piyabhand Sanitwongse, a national performing arts artist, in 1998. In the same year, she passed the Grade 8 piano exam at Trinity College in London. She collaborated with Jun Komatsu between 2005 and 2007 and with Christopher Tutin in 2010. In the past 16 years, she has had a significant amount of experience teaching and studying piano, both in practice and in theory, at the University of West London, London College of Music (LCM) up to Grade 8. She has had experience teaching piano to children with special needs in the past 10 years.

Mr.Tanakorn Wattanakul

Tanakorn Wattanakul (Ajarn Big) is a highly skilled pianist and passionate educator with over seven years of experience in piano instruction. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance with First -class honors from Chulalongkorn University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Chulalongkorn Business School. His diverse expertise spans classical piano, music theory, vocal coaching, perfect pitch training, and piano tuning, enabling him to guide students of all levels with both precision and inspiration.

As a performer, Tanakorn has collaborated with leading ensembles such as the CU Symphony Orchestra and CU Chorus, and has appeared in major recitals including the Yamaha Flagship Store Bangkok × FAA Piano Series, Yamaha Thailand Music Festival, and Piano Friendship Concert 2024 & 2025. Currently, he is involved in artist development at GMMTV. Among his accolades is the Gold Prize at YTMF2020, and he holds certifications from Trinity, ABRSM, Yamaha, and TIME. His teaching is deeply rooted in musical excellence, artistic expression, and a genuine commitment to nurturing talent.

Ms.Isayaporn Ratanaphromma

Isayaporn Ratanaphromma (Ajarn Maena) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Western Music with a concentration in Piano Performance from the Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University. She has successfully completed the Trinity College London Piano Examination at Grade 6 level. With over two years of teaching experience both privately and at music institutions, she has taught students ranging from beginners to those preparing for Trinity and ABRSM examinations. Her areas of expertise include music theory, music history, and choral arranging. She is proficient in teaching in both Thai and English.

Mr.Panuwat Tangyuenyong

Panuwat Tangyuenyong (Ajarn Non) is a highly versatile pianist and music educator with a First Class Honors degree in Jazz Piano from Silpakorn University. With years of professional experience performing at Bangkok’s top venues—including Le Bua Hotel’s Chef's Table, Somerset Hotel, and Bluebird Jazz Bar—he brings real-world musical insight into every lesson. His broad musical background spans jazz, pop, and classical styles, allowing him to tailor each lesson to the unique interests and goals of his students.

In addition to his strong foundation in music, Ajarn Non is fluent in Thai, English, and Japanese. His teaching approach emphasizes creativity, improvisation, and personal growth, whether working with beginners or advanced pianists. With a warm, encouraging style and international perspective, Ajarn Non creates an inspiring environment for students to develop both technical skill and musical expression.

Mr. Visudh Toogjit

Visudh graduated with a bachelor's degree from Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Education. After graduating, he was a piano teacher for 8 years until one day he came out to try new things such as performing a solo concert. as well as being a back-up for the band performing at leading hotels across Bangkok. In addition to being able to play the piano, he can play the bass guitar, record and give advice on how to play music. He is currently an advisor to the music program and teaches piano.

Mr. Pawai Krutherm

Known as Tong P, piano cover from YouTube Channel, ‘Bankmodify’ which has over 100,000 subscribes and the highest number of views on his piano cover videos. He has more than 300 wedding event piano experience. Also, he joins in collaboration with many famous YouTube channels in Thailand such as Madpuppetstudio, Kanomroo, Babymojiko, เอ๋ยเอ้ย, 108life

Ms.Petchrung Petchpimolmas

Petchrung Petchpimolmas (Ajarn Petch) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University, majoring in Electronic Organ, and graduated with First Class Honors (Gold Medal). She has experience teaching piano, keyboard, and electronic organ in various private schools and educational institutions. Her background includes teaching music part-time at kindergartens and primary schools, as well as supporting students in preparation for electronic organ competitions organized by Yamaha Music School.
